The National Flight Training Alliance is pleased to announce expanded leadership roles for Captain Lee Collins and Paul Preidecker as NFTA continues advancing advocacy, modernization, and strategic industry engagement across flight training.

Captain Lee Collins will continue leading NFTA’s national initiatives as President & CEO, while Paul Preidecker assumes an expanded leadership role supporting the organization’s operational, communications, and strategic growth efforts.

As NFTA continues working alongside industry stakeholders, educators, operators, and federal leadership, these leadership developments reflect the organization’s continued commitment to building a safer, stronger, and more modern future for aviation training.

NBAA Supports Training Alliance Blueprint for Part 141 Training Modernization 05/14/2026

We’re proud to share that the NBAA has formally endorsed the NFTA Part 141 Modernization Blueprint submitted to the FAA.

NBAA’s support reinforces the industry-wide momentum behind modernizing a regulatory framework that has remained largely unchanged for more than 50 years.
