Hiring: Scratch & Python Instructor for Kids (In-Person)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic instructor to teach Scratch and Python programming to elementary school students in the North Bethesda, MD area.

Position Details:

Format: In-person
Duration: 1-hour sessions / once a week (Fridays, Mondays)

Audience:
Scratch: 2nd–3rd grade
Python: 4th–5th grade

Education:

High school diploma or higher

Requirements:

- Experience teaching Scratch and/or Python (preferred)
- Engaging teaching style with the ability to make learning fun
- Passion for working with kids and helping them learn
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive personality
- A sense of humor, able to keep kids excited and involved
- Strong communication and basic classroom management skills
Reliable and punctual

Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience in STEM
- Experience building simple games/projects (Scratch or Python)
- Background in education, computer science, or related field
