Our Lowell 8th graders have officially graduated and are scattering across some incredible high schools next year! While they might soon be wearing different colors, they'll always share the same roots.
Congratulations to our graduates and their families!

And just like that, middle school is officially in the rearview mirror.
Today’s graduation ceremony was the perfect celebration of our 8th graders. It was personal and a beautiful reflection of how close this class has become over the years.
Watching them sit together today, it’s incredible to see the young adults they’ve grown into. They’ve navigated the ups and downs of middle school with so much resilience, creativity, and supportive friendships. They aren't just moving on to high school, they're heading there as confident, thoughtful people who know who they are.
Congratulations to the entire Class of 2026 and to all the families who walked this path alongside them.

Ended the school year the right way. Good food, great company, and plenty of sunshine at the Lowell end-of-year picnic. Cheers to a great year!

From the very first day of primary school to this unforgettable milestone, these kids have grown in ways words can’t quite capture. Today, we celebrated Lowell School’s incredible 5th graders at their Moving Forward ceremony!
Primary school, completed. Middle school, here they come! We are so incredibly proud of the thinkers, creators, and leaders you are becoming. Keep shining bright Leopards!

Field Day was a blast! The energy at Lowell was unmatched. From the relay races to the water slides, everyone was just cheering each other on. It was exactly what we anticipated.
None of this happens by accident. A special thank you to our wonderful staff, Lauren and Aimee, for putting this together. You two pulled it off flawlessly and made sure everyone had the best time. We are so lucky to have you both!

Our Pre-Primary students have spent the year learning all kinds of things, but Spanish time with Sara is clearly a fan favorite! Who wouldn't like hanging out with their friends and singing a cool song? These students are more than ready for the challenge of Kindergarten!
¡Aprender es muy divertido!

We were thrilled to welcome three Lowell alumni from the Class of 2022, Leo, Evie, and Ashli, back to campus recently to spend time with and mentor our current students.
Now graduating from the Edmund Burke School, these three are heading off to do amazing things this fall, and they stopped by to share how their Lowell journey set them up for success:
Evie Piller (Left) is heading to American University for Business Entrepreneurship with a minor in Physics & Chemistry!. Evie returned to Lowell for her senior project. "In middle school, Lowell helped me express confidence and encouraged me to work with my interests... The teachers have had the greatest impact on me."
Leo Gehman (Middle) is heading to Boston University to study Ecology. For Leo, Lowell was a place to try everything from sports to the student newspaper. "Lowell has always felt like a place I can go back to and be welcomed with open arms, no matter where I am in life."
Ashli Johnson (Right) is heading to Drexel University’s 2+4 Architecture program. Having attended Lowell from 1st–8th grade, Ashli shared, "Lowell taught me a lot about independence and empathy... giving me a space where I could grow and learn who I was."
Thank you, Leo, Evie, and Ashli, for giving back to our community. We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

We have some exciting news! Please join us in giving a huge Lowell welcome to Dr. Joseph Valentine-White, our new Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).
Joe comes to us from the Gilman School in Baltimore, bringing a fantastic background as an educator, mentor, and school leader. He is known for his deep empathy, passion, and unique ability to listen closely to families and turn those conversations into real, positive change.
We are so lucky to have his leadership and vision joining our community. Welcome to Lowell, Joe!
