Middlebury students and alums had the chance to sit down with Congressman Sean Casten ‘93 in his Capitol Hill office this week.

Congressman Casten reflected on his path from Middlebury to Congress and offered students candid, thoughtful insights on public service and political life. We are so proud to see a Middlebury alum serving in Congress.

Congratulations to Karina Knizek ‘25.5. A DC-area native, Karina has been named a Distinguished Horstmann Scholar at the Yale School of Public Health — earning a $40,000 scholarship to pursue her MPH this fall.

Through work as an EMT and medical interpreter, Karina has combined academic excellence with a deep commitment to serving her community. Congratulations, Karina!
