On July 4th, join us in taking on the billionaires in the White House to defend our rights and freedoms. March with in Philadelphia!

We are witnessing the descent into fascism before our very eyes. Slashed VA benefits and social services for working people. ICE disappearing beloved family members. Illegal wars which kill thousands abroad. All on our tax-payer dollars.

And as veterans and military family members, we are fighting back.

On July 4th, 2026, Veterans Against Fascism will host a national march in Philadelphia against authoritarianism and endless war.

Trump’s celebrations are an attempt to distract from the daily hardships everyday people are living through.
It’s an attempt to flex America’s military might, despite the illegal war on Iran being massively unpopular. We are calling his bluff.

We are mobilizing hundreds of veterans, military families, and all those opposed to fascism to join us in Philadelphia this July 4th. Through our unity and strength, we can take on bought-out politicians and their billionaire backers, defend our communities, and make one message clear: the next 250 years will be nothing like the 250 before it.

Veterans with CCW and About Face setup today at Portland Fleet Week where sailors and Marines were coming on and off their ship, giving out information about their rights as conscientious objectors and their right to refuse. Will be continuing to do outreach for to the many ships that will be docked here this week!

Hidden on Memorial Day are countless veterans who died from toxic exposure to reckless, unregulated burn pits overseas. One of them was a CO and champion of peace. CCW honors him today.

One of our new Conscientious Objector clients has a message for sailors & Marines on the USS Nimitz, and all others facing participation in a new U.S. war on Cuba.

Today we honor International Conscientious Objectors’ Day, to raise awareness about CO rights and offer remembrance to all those who refused to kill.

Conscientious objection in U.S. history goes back as far as 1681, and is present in every subsequent military engagement until today.

The Center on Conscience and War has been on the front lines defending and advancing CO rights for over 85 years. But the work has just begun.
