..and American farmers are counting on Congress to pass the farm bill.

In a new op-ed for Agri-Pulse, Beer Institute's Director of Government Affairs Chris MacArthur explains why an updated farm bill is so essential for farmers, brewers, communities and the 2.42 million U.S. workers whose jobs are supported by the beer industry.

Good beer comes in... well, all packages.

The Beer Institute just released its latest packaging mix data, and aluminum cans remain supreme. But there's another trend worth watching: draft beer posted the largest increase in share.

How do you prefer your beer: can, bottle or on draft?

Good beer requires quality barley... and quality barley requires resourceful workers. That's why we're proud to call Darrel Miller, Operations and US Procurement Site Director at RahrBSG, one of the BEST IN BREW.

Darrel has been a team leader and exemplary employee at Rahr for 38 years, and a key part of ensuring the supply chain of high-quality barley to malt stays healthy and strong.

Darrel has been instrumental in supporting two-row barley varieties with dormancy, enabling better acceptance of U.S.-grown barley from North Dakota. He has been a champion for farmers and the many people and operations across rural communities who make up the vital connection between agriculture and the beer that ends up in the hands of consumers.

His dedication to the job has had lasting impacts on breweries, large and small, by ensuring that the supply chain can adapt to the needs of a dynamic industry.

Congrats, Darrel, on being one of the BEST IN BREW... and thank you for your contribution the beer industry.
