Taking risks has never stopped Yiqiao Wang,'09. Born in Beijing, she came to Gallaudet in 2005 for what she called the “Deaf Harvard.”
Through ASL, art, and community, she discovered her identity and new inspiration. She wove the Deaf experience into her work and took another leap by pitching her art to Starbucks.
Gallaudet helped her find her creative expression and the confidence to share it with the world.
