Located in the heart of Washington, DC, GW Law offers a legal education that positions its students and graduates to change the world.
GW Law is a private institution located across the street from the World Bank and IMF headquarters and blocks from the State Department and White House. Its total enrollment of about 2,000 students includes 1,400 in the full-time (day) JD program, 300 in the part-time (evening) program, and 300 students, many from abroad, in graduate law programs. GW Law's curriculum comprises more than 250 courses, including numerous live-client clinics and lawyering skills courses.

Last month, GW Law's Health Law and Policy Program convened experts and officials at the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Accounts (ICHRA) Roundtable.
The roundtable provided a forum for stakeholders in health law and policy to discuss the future and potential of ICHRAs, which allow employers to provide tax-free funds for employees to purchase Affordable Care Act-compliant plans. Read more about the discussion ⬇️

Congratulations to GW Law alumna Cherissa Lindsay, JD ‘25, who has been chosen as an Equal Justice Works Fellow, hosted by Volunteer Legal Advocates.
Lindsay’s fellowship project focuses on child advocacy, identifying unmet academic needs, and collaborating with attorneys, courts, and schools to best support children through guardian ad litem work.
