🌿🌱 Our middle school scholars had an amazing day at the Arboretum with the Washington Youth Garden!
From making fresh spinach dip to learning about worm composting and exploring the beautiful grounds of the Arboretum, our scholars enjoyed a hands-on day filled with learning, discovery, and fun. Experiences like these help bring science, nutrition, and environmental stewardship to life.
It was truly a great day for exploration and growth! 🌞🌻

🎡☀️ The Armstrong Annual End-of-Year Carnival is fast approaching on June 12!
As we prepare for a day filled with fun, games, and celebration, we’re asking our amazing families for support with hydration donations. With warm temperatures expected, we want to make sure our scholars stay cool, safe, and hydrated while enjoying all the festivities.

📚🎉 Save the Date, Friendship Families!🎉📚
The last day of school for Friendship Public Charter Schools is Tuesday, June 16. Students will be dismissed on a half-day schedule, while staff will remain in the building for a full workday.
As we prepare to close out another wonderful school year, be sure to mark your calendars and celebrate all that our scholars have accomplished this year!

Chanae Novell is a DC charter school teacher who loves watching her children grow and develop a love of math. She knows that education builds tomorrows leaders, as well as tomorrow's society. Tell your Councilmember we need to so all DC schools are fairly funded!
