Parents, please make sure that you are checking ClassDojo daily for messages and that your children are accessing their lessons on Schoology. If they are not completing lessons, I will have to mark them absent.
Parents,
You should be receiving an invitation from to me to join a private Facebook group for our classroom. This is so that if you post pictures of your children engaged in learning activities, only our group members can see them. After today, I will begin posting all of the learning content in that private group. Please accept the invitation when you receive it.

As your child plays, eats, etc. ask him/her to count the objects by pointing and moving his/her finger.
Science:
In the water play area set up in the previous week: Provide different size plastic cups and containers. Let students experiment with filling and dumping water in the containers.
Discussion Prompts:
Which containers hold more? What's the easiest way to move water? When we pour water how does it move?
Social Emotional Learning:
Today, especially since it is Spirit week and today is stuffed animal day, add some comforting items to the safe space, perhaps a stuffed animal, but one that your child doesn't typically sleep with.
Motor skills:
Continue with the activities from yesterday.
