With a heavy heart, we had to say goodbye to an icon. πŸŒ³πŸ’”

For decades, the great Linden tree that stood beside Emerson Elementary served as a quiet classmate, a shady sanctuary and a leafy companion to generations of students and staff.

Unfortunately, after a recent storm caused a severe structural split, the tree was deemed unsafe and had to be removed. While its branches will no longer frame the building, its memory remains rooted in Emerson's history.

Thank you for the shade, the summer blooms and the decades of silent guardianship. You will be deeply missed.
