Smile Jar Rules:
Take one when you're happy 🥰
Take two when you're stressed 🥰
Take three when life is being ridiculous 😜🥰
Refills are made by sharing them with others! Smiles are contagious & sometimes just one is enough to change the direction of your day 🙏❣️.
Try one on for size! With Light & Love, ~Li

I am not feeling camera ready this morning 📸🤣, but didn’t want to leave you guys hanging!
The magical thing about change is that it’s never reserved for a certain age, season, or chapter of life. As long as you’re breathing, you can choose differently.
🍃You are never as stuck as you feel. Sometimes the smallest decision today can completely change the direction of your life six months from now.
🍃Change doesn’t require a perfect plan. It often starts with one honest moment where you decide, “I can’t keep doing it this way.”
🍃The person you are today does not have to be the person you are a year from now. You are allowed to grow, evolve, heal, and rewrite the story.
🍃Many people think change happens all at once. In reality, it’s usually a series of tiny choices that eventually create a completely different life.
🍃You don’t have to wait until Monday, next month, or the new year. Change begins the moment you decide to take ownership of what’s within your control.
🍃One of the most hopeful truths about being human is that no matter how many mistakes you’ve made, you can always make a different choice moving forward.
🍃The same mind that created some of your struggles can also create your healing, your growth, and your next chapter.
What is it you’d like to change? What do you say we get started today?!? LFG Friends! There’s no better time than now ❤️🙌. Have an awesome Tuesday! Love, Li

Never underestimate the power of reaching out and helping someone who’s struggling. We’ve all needed a hand at some point in our lives. Sometimes it’s not about fixing their problems, it’s about reminding them they don’t have to carry them alone. A little encouragement, understanding, or support can change the direction of someone’s entire day. The truth is, life gets hard for all of us. When you’re in a position to lift someone up, do it. We need more of that in this world. ❤️. With Light & Love, ~Li

I’ve spent quite a bit of time on my healing journey dissecting why it is that I like to move my body so much lol 🥰.
For me, my head feels best when I am getting things accomplished. I have had to work hard at building in rest for myself because I was programmed to believe that somehow rest equated to me being “weak”.
I am so grateful for my work ethic, drive, and determination because it’s carried me through all of life’s challenges and has helped me to achieve just about anything I put my mind to 💪, but I am also grateful to recognize the importance of taking a break when I need it 🙏🏼❤️. Just like anything else in life, balance matters.
Time for a little R&R 🧘🏼♀️💜. Love you friends and hope you’re having a great day! ~Li

I am not suggesting this is the case with every single grieving person out there, but what I am suggesting is that there is not enough understanding, time, or focus on how deeply grief effects both our mental and physical state of being.
When someone breaks an arm, people understand they need medical care, time to heal, support, and accommodations while they recover. When someone is grieving, just because the injury isn't visible doesn't mean it isn't real 💔.
Grief affects sleep, concentration, memory, energy, appetite, motivation, the immune system, and overall physical health. It can leave someone feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, foggy, and completely unlike themselves.
Despite this, many grieving people are expected to return to "normal" long before they've had the chance to process what has happened.
This isn't true for every grieving person, but as a society, we still don't fully recognize the profound impact grief can have on both the mind and body. Grief isn't simply sadness. It's a whole-body experience that deserves greater understanding, more compassion, and more support than it often receives.
If you feel this, please share it. This community is doing its best to help to educate others in the grief space 💜. I appreciate you all and wish you a peaceful day ahead. With Light & Love, ~Li

Hello Friends! I can't believe we are already kicking off a new week! Please see this week's grief support group schedule.
I will be at The East Longmeadow Location of Forastiere Funeral Home this Tuesday @6:30pm for anyone who is in need of grief support.
Please note that our monthly Ludlow Senior Center Grief Support Group falls on this Thursday at 11am, which is a change to the typical date and time. The center is closed this Friday and therefore, we found an alternate time to hold the group.
Grief can feel incredibly isolating friends, but you don't have to carry it alone. Our groups provide a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who understand the challenges of loss. Together, we share experiences, learn practical tools, explore ways to navigate difficult emotions, and find support in a community that "gets it".
Whether your loss is recent or years old, you will find understanding, compassion, and reminders that healing doesn't mean forgetting; it means learning how to carry your love and your loss forward.
❤️ Looking forward to seeing my tribe there!
All My Best,
Li
