๐ฃ National Biomechanics Day
For many years, students in Padua's Topics in Biomedical Engineering course have participated in National Biomechanics Day at the University of Delaware STAR Health Sciences Campus, connecting classroom learning with real-world careers in science, research, and healthcare.
During this year's visit, students explored the Neuromuscular Biomechanics, Human Robotics, and Orthopaedic Tissue Mechanics labs, participating in hands-on activities that deepened their understanding of human movement and introduced them to careers in biomechanics and related STEM fields.
A special thank you to the University of Delaware graduate students who shared their expertise, led workshops, and inspired our students by sharing their academic and professional journeys.
Experiences like these are part of what makes a Padua education uniqueโconnecting students with leaders in higher education and helping them discover future opportunities. ๐๐ผ

Summer Community Connections โ๏ธ
One of the many ways Padua students make an impact beyond our campus is through our Future Teachers Club, one of more than 50 clubs and activities offered at Padua.
This year, club members partnered with William C. Lewis Dual Language Elementary School, working alongside K-5 teachers every other week to support classroom instruction and gain firsthand experience in the art of teaching. Students also volunteered at after-school programs, built relationships with Lewis students throughout the year, and welcomed them to Padua for our annual Culture Day celebration.
To conclude the school year, Future Teachers Club members put their leadership and communication skills to work by writing a grant that funded more than 100 "Summer Fun" kits for Lewis students. After securing the funding, the girls assembled and delivered the bags, helping Lewis students stay engaged in learning and fun throughout the summer.
Stay tuned throughout the summer as we highlight more of Padua's community connections and the many ways our students are making a difference.

Today we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Anthony of Padua, one of Padua Academyโs patron saints. ๐๐๐ฟ
Known for his wisdom, compassion, and devotion to sharing Godโs Word, St. Anthony reminds our Pandas that faith grows when we use our voices, talents, and actions to serve others and make a difference in the world.
โActions speak louder than words; let your words teach and your actions speak.โ

๐๐ช A fun way to wrap up the school year!
As classes came to a close today, some of our juniors in Oceanography celebrated by decorating cookies inspired by their favorite ocean creatures and underwater scenes. ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ข These edible works of art showcased both their ocean knowledge and creativity! ๐จ
