JUNIOR CHEFS FREE SUMMER CAMP COOKING CLASSES

Humanity’s Kitchen offers In Person classes in New Castle County and Virtual classes in Kent/Sussex County, Monday through Friday, 5:30pm to 8:30 pm.

The purpose of this program is to provide opportunities for students with disabilities, finishing 8th grade and in grades 9-11, ages 14 to 22 or those that are in the 18-22 Educational Program, to engage in career exploration in the culinary arts field during summer vacation from school.

The program is offered at no cost to students in New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties.

CARE NOTEBOOK TRAINING

August 12, 2026 | 12:00 - 1:30 PM | Zoom

The Care Notebook helps parents and other family members organize important information such as medical appointments, immunizations, communication with medical providers, school staff, care teams, and other important documents and records.

Those who attend the virtual training can stop by to pick up their Care Notebook or flash drive of the training.

Healthy Lifestyles Focus Group

Delaware college students, ages 18 to 24, are invited to participate in small two-hour group meetings sponsored by the Delaware Division of Public Health to discuss healthy lifestyles.

A light meal will be provided, and participants will receive a $100 gift card.
