We’re excited to share the launch of our new Financial Literacy Workshops!

We recently kicked things off with the incredible 3rd graders at East Millsboro Elementary, where students explored essential life skills like understanding money as a tool, identifying needs vs. wants, and practicing real-world financial decision-making.

Our goal is to help students feel comfortable having conversations about money and confident in making thoughtful choices.

We’re also continuing to weave financial literacy into mentoring relationships at East Side Charter, helping students build self-awareness, self-management, and responsible decision-making skills in a meaningful way.

At Connecting Generations, we believe helping kids build strong financial habits early instills confidence and patience. Teaching children to save isn’t just about money, it’s about setting goals, making choices and learning the value of a dollar.

Whether it’s a piggy bank, a savings jar or their first bank account, every small step counts.
