Goldey-Beacom College has received reaffirmation of accreditation for our business programs from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

This recognition reflects the strong work happening across our campus every day: faculty helping students connect what they learn in class to what comes next, staff supporting students from admission through graduation, and our full GBC community working together to help students succeed.

Dr. Scott Glenn, Assistant Professor of Business, recently represented GBC at the annual ACBSP conference in Phoenix, Arizona, where he received the official reaffirmation and accompanied students participating in the ACBSP Student Pitch Competition.

We’re grateful for the continued dedication of our business faculty and the many people across campus who help make this work possible. 💙⚡

We had a great time kicking off our partnership with ShopRite of Delaware last week!

The GBC team joined ShopRite associates at their annual employee BBQ in Bear to share more about a new tuition offering for employees and their families. Eligible ShopRite of Delaware employees, spouses, and benefit-eligible children can receive 10% off tuition on undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Goldey-Beacom College.

It was a wonderful day of conversation, connection, and community. Thank you to ShopRite of Delaware for welcoming us and for helping create more opportunities for Delaware families to invest in their future. 💙⚡️

Marketing is everywhere, from the coffee you buy to the career you’re building.

On this episode of Practice to Profession, Dustin Ramstow talks with Ashik Shafi, GBC marketing faculty member, about the real-world role marketing plays in almost every industry. They discuss why Delaware’s location creates meaningful opportunities for students, how small classes help faculty get to know students personally, and why staying current matters in a field that changes quickly.

Ashik also shares a piece of advice for students that applies far beyond the classroom: believe in yourself, try new things, and let each experience help you better understand where you want to go next. ⚡💙
