Each year at graduation, Saint Mark’s honors graduating seniors with its most prestigious awards.

Named in honor of individuals whose faith, service, and legacy continue to inspire our school community, the Ronald R. Russo, Jr. Memorial Award for Academic Excellence, the Bishop Michael Hyle Award for Outstanding Service, the Rachael M. Ali Award, and the Mark Weaver Award represent the highest recognition bestowed upon members of the graduating class.

Congratulations to Tanner Ehemann '27 on completing his Eagle Scout Project and leaving a lasting legacy at Saint Mark's.

Tanner led the effort to replace a bridge connecting Saint Mark's High School and All Saints Cemetery after the original structure had become unsafe. For years, it served our student-athletes as part of their training routes before it reached the end of its lifespan.

Working alongside 54 dedicated volunteers, Tanner helped remove the old bridge and construct a new 20-foot bridge with ramps on both sides. The project required more than 400 volunteer hours and was dedicated to the longtime leaders of Saint Mark's running program, Coach Joe O'Neill and Coach Mike DiGennaro.

Thank you to the many volunteers who made this project possible, and congratulations to Tanner on this incredible accomplishment. Your leadership, service, and dedication will benefit Saint Mark's students and athletes for years to come. 💚💛
