Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone: 72 years of shaping minds and building futures. Over seven decades, we stood as a beacon of knowledge and character. We honour the pioneers who laid our foundation and we're grateful for the present ones who continue to build on it. Happy 72nd CVGS

The highlight of our Literacy/Numeracy Week was our inaugural Mini Reading Fair. The students and their teachers displayed high-quality, thoughtfully prepared exhibits that reflected strong collaboration, deep engagement with texts, and a shared commitment to promoting literacy across the school. There was much creativity, enthusiasm and engaging demonstrations that brought books to life in meaningful and memorable ways.

DAY 5: Character & Career Day. Our students came decked out today in their character and career outfits as we brought the curtains down on our Literacy/Numeracy week of activities, 2026. It was a week filled with laughter and learning.

A special guest along with some members of staff joined in today to extend best wishes to our Grade 6 students as they prepare for their CPEA exams. Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Randy Cornelius Boucher, for his inspiring words of encouragement which uplifted our students. May the Lord shine His face upon them and give them peace for the journey ahead.

Our Literacy/Numeracy week of activities was kicked off today using the theme: Book Smart, Number Sharp, Doing our Part. Our students came out dressed in their creative, decorative hats as we marched through our community, setting the tone for an exciting week of learning, fun and celebration.
