What happens after codeHive graduates enter the workforce?

In the first transition, from internship to full-time, we’re seeing income jumps of about 40%. After that, growth continues at around 20% as careers progress.

The goal isn’t just entry into tech, it’s sustained growth once they’re in.

Tech knows no borders, and neither should opportunity!

This year, we expanded our footprint to Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini.

We are intentional about scouting talent wherever it exists; looking beyond the obvious and reaching young women who might otherwise be overlooked.Because every time our reach grows, so does access to education and opportunity.

As the tech landscape continues to shift, one thing remains clear: the future belongs to those who are ready to lead it and our alumnae, Rose Wanjiku, is doing just that at HeronAI!

A strong network isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a real support system. Looking back at the codeHive program over the years, it’s clear that thriving as individuals is deeply connected to the strength of the communities around us.

Our alumni have built a sisterhood that shows up in the workplace, shapes the industry, and gives young women a clear picture of what representation truly looks like.
