1️⃣ Health & Safety Compliance: By law, a centre must prominently display a valid Health Certificate issued by the local Health Department (like Ekurhuleni Health Department).

2️⃣ Social Development Registration: Always verify their Social Development Registration Certificate. This ensures the facility strictly meets national standards for care and child protection.

3️⃣ Educational Standards: Ask for the school’s EMIS number. If registered with the Department of Education, this officially confirms they are a recognized educational provider.

🛑 1. Don’t match their emotions: Stay calm so they feel safe.
