Today we dressed in black to say something simple and important: women and girls are not just safe when the world is watching, they deserve to be safe because they exist.

By standing alongside today's G20 Women’s Shutdown, we are adding our voices to many others who are saying that violence against women and girls is never acceptable.

At CEO, we teach our learners that words like “brave”, “enough” and “powerful” are not just words on paper, but live in every person who chooses respect, kindness and courage.

From delicious snacks and handmade crafts to lucky draws, games, and face painting, it was a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and the fresh energy of spring. 🌿💛

Some already know exactly where they are headed, from future surgeons and teachers to authors and entrepreneurs. Others are still exploring, figuring out what excites them most and where their passions might lead.

For us, learning goes far beyond the screen so every second week, our students roll up their sleeves at a local soup kitchen. 💙🥣💚

It’s a powerful part of our community outreach programme that encourages empathy, teamwork, and purpose beyond the classroom.

At CEO, we believe in the importance of real-world impact, where students experience the joy of giving back and develop life skills that can’t be taught in a textbook. Outreach matters to us because education should uplift not only the learner, but also the community.

Our recent outing to The Hidden Forest Wildlife Sanctuary reminded us why alternative education works... because learning doesn’t only happen behind a desk! It happens on forest paths, in whispered bird calls, and face-to-face with rescued wildlife.

📚 Term 3 is here and we’re stepping into it with purpose, curiosity and care!

At CEO, we see every term as a chance to grow, not just academically, but emotionally too.

We’re also proud to welcome Maxzene Engelbrecht, our new onsite counselling intern, who’ll be supporting learners with free emotional check-ins and guidance throughout the week. 💬💚

Term 2 at CEO has been a whirlwind of learning, laughter and growth!

This term brought a dynamic mix of classroom learning and outdoor exploration. Our learners tackled challenges with enthusiasm and showed up with curiosity every step of the way.

A standout moment was attending the very first Inclusion Expo, where we connected with others who share our commitment to inclusive education.

We were also honoured to welcome two incredible women who joined us for heartfelt, insightful sessions with our parent community. These conversations added depth to our shared journey and reminded us of the power of support and understanding.

As we look back on a busy and productive term, we feel proud of all that was accomplished and excited for what lies ahead.
