HAPPY YOUTH DAY.
Today we celebrate the courage, strength, and potential of the youth of South Africa.
Youth Day reminds us that young people have the power to shape the future through faith, education, leadership, and perseverance. At CP Christian School, we believe that with Jesus, all things are possible.
May this day inspire every learner to dream big, stand strong in their values, and become a light in their generation.
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”-1 Timothy 4:12

1. CREATING A POSITIVE DIGITAL COMMUNITY
Technology is a powerful tool for learning, communication, and growth. At CP Christian School, we encourage all learners to use digital platforms responsibly, respectfully, and safely. Every message, comment, and post reflects our character and values.
As members of a Christian learning community, we are called to show kindness, respect, and integrity both offline and online. Cyberbullying, gossip, and hurtful messages can have a lasting impact on others. Instead, let us use technology to encourage, support, and uplift one another.
Parents play an important role in guiding learners' online behaviour. Through open communication, appropriate monitoring, and positive role modelling, families and schools can work together to create a safe and supportive digital environment.
2. OUR COMMITMENT
a. To communicate with respect and kindness.
b. To use technology responsibly.
c. To protect ourselves and others online.
e. To report harmful online behaviour.
f. To honour God in our digital interactions.
3. KEY MESSAGE
Think Before You Type. Choose Kindness. Be a Responsible Digital Citizen.
4. BIBLE VERSE
"Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them." -Ephesians 4:

This verse reminds us that God’s love, goodness, and mercy are always with us. Even when we make mistakes or face challenges, God continues to care for us, forgive us, and guide us.
3. EXAMPLES OF GRACE
a. Forgiving a friend after an argument.
b. Helping a classmate in need.

As learners, we should show grace through kindness, patience, forgiveness, and understanding. We must also not abuse grace by continuing to do wrong things on purpose. Instead, we should learn from our mistakes, respect others, and always try to do what is right.

WORD OF THE WEEK: MOTHER ❤️
Meaning:
A woman who loves, cares for, guides, and supports her children and family.
Message:
This week, we celebrate the word mother as we honour the incredible women who play such an important role in our lives. Mothers are often our first teachers, our protectors, our encouragers, and our biggest supporters. Through their love, patience, and sacrifices, they help shape our future and inspire us to become our best selves.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us show gratitude and appreciation to all mothers and mother figures for the care and kindness they give every day. A simple “thank you,” a kind gesture, or words of love can make a mother feel truly special.
Bible Verse:
“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” – Proverbs 31:28
