As we begin our assessment week, we wish all our learners success in their upcoming papers. This is an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and understanding you have developed throughout the term.

Prepare well, stay focused, and give your best effort in every assessment. Remember that success comes through hard work, discipline, and determination. We are proud of each one of you and encourage you to approach every paper with confidence.

1. WORD OF THE WEEK: GRACE

Definition: Grace is God’s undeserved love, kindness, mercy, and favour toward us.

Scripture: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.”- Psalms 23:6

2. EXPLANATION

This verse reminds us that God’s love, goodness, and mercy are always with us. Even when we make mistakes or face challenges, God continues to care for us, forgive us, and guide us.

3. EXAMPLES OF GRACE

a. Forgiving a friend after an argument.

b. Helping a classmate in need.

c. Giving someone another chance after a mistake.

d. Encouraging someone who feels sad or discouraged.

4. MESSAGE TO LEARNERS

As learners, we should show grace through kindness, patience, forgiveness, and understanding. We must also not abuse grace by continuing to do wrong things on purpose. Instead, we should learn from our mistakes, respect others, and always try to do what is right.

WORD OF THE WEEK: MOTHER ❤️

Meaning:
A woman who loves, cares for, guides, and supports her children and family.

Message:
This week, we celebrate the word mother as we honour the incredible women who play such an important role in our lives. Mothers are often our first teachers, our protectors, our encouragers, and our biggest supporters. Through their love, patience, and sacrifices, they help shape our future and inspire us to become our best selves.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us show gratitude and appreciation to all mothers and mother figures for the care and kindness they give every day. A simple “thank you,” a kind gesture, or words of love can make a mother feel truly special.
