2017 C*CWs are well into the training for Qualification 60209. They just need to complete the assessment for Module 3 and then it's just 2 more modules. These are learners who travel from Khayelitsha to Diep River and should really be commended for their dedication and committment to gaining a qualification which would offer them some level of security in their positions as Child and Youth Care Workers. These are learners who should be seen as role models in their communities as they not only perform their duties in their organisations but also take on social responsibilities. I would like to wish them every success in completing this qualification.

Strathealth Consultants is currently training learners for Qualification 60209 ( Child and Youth Care Work - NQF level 4) at our new premises in Diep River. This is a one year qualification and will end in January 2018. We also intend starting a course in Counselling ( June 2017). This is also a one year program at NQF level 4.

The 2016 C*C group have now completed the theory for Module 1and are in the process of completing their workplace activities for this module. Assessment on the 18th July. Good luck!!!

Strathealth Consultants have completed training 21 Child and Youth Care Workers at Baphumelele C*CC. These learners completed a skills program which is part of Qualification 60209. The project was funded by the Department of Public Works.

Congratulations to all the Child and Youth Care workers (Holy Cross C*CC) who wrote the Final Summative Assessments. 100% pass rate. Special congratulations to Fadielah who scored 92% - a fantastic achievement !
