We had the most precious visit today by one of our Old TLC Tots, Ayanda. Thank you Mum & Dad for bringing Ayanda back home to say hi. It filled our hearts to see how beautifully she is growing❤️

International Yoga Day 2026

We hosted our Annual International Yoga Day this week and our students had the best time outdoors. Breathing in the fresh, crisp air while stretching from one pose to the next. All basic kiddie poses were explored, discussed & demonstrated with ease. The most popular exercise was the meditation & breathing exercise where we emphasized the importance of thinking of God all throughout the day. The breathing technique emphasized on inhaling and accepting positivity into our lives & allowing all sad emotions to leave during exhaling...The kids giggled as they transitioned from tree pose to child pose, from butterfly pose to crocodile, from cat to cow and from warrior to chair...every individual stance was accepted & given full attention as each child gave off their best in participating in this vibrant Yoga lesson. Starting yoga early can assist with managing stress, build concentration as well as maintain flexibility and balance as they grow. We focused on imaginative play, story telling and animal poses to keep our students engaged throughout the entire session. The whole experience ended with sharing eachothers thoughts, happy feelings & yummy slices of fruit🧘‍♀️

TLC Father's Day 2026

We invited all of our outstanding Dads to school, for a fun-filled Mini Sports Session with Coach Dinesh & his team. Our students had the best time, depositing fun moments into their memory banks that arw definitely going to last a lifetime. From soccer kicks to volley ball throws...fun was definitely had! This funsession was followed by light snacks & refrewshments. Our creative students said good bye to their Dads by gifting them carefully planted African Daisy pots. Thank You Dads, for spending time with your little treasures💙

International Eat Your vegetable Day 2026

TLC hosted our Annual Potjie Party celebrating an important Day at the same time, Eat Your Veggie Day! This day is a global reminder to celebrate the nutrient-rich, colorful benefits of produce...also to include more plant-powered foods into our daily meals.

This experience allowed our students to explore and learn more about vegetables, familiarize themselves with veggies they would not usually opt to eat on their own & to broaden their knowledge about fun facts & new delicious tastes.

Our TLC tots were able to wash their vegetables and also learned to peel, cut, slice, chop up all the wholesome veggies. They revised colours, shapes & even numbers while they readily prepped the items before popping them into the pot. They learned opposites & even directions too: inside & outside the pot, cut up & down, peel left to right...the Learning that happened during this activity makes us want to play more outdoors. The best part was to watch their faces change as they taste tested the veggies when they were served linch outside. Their eyes widened, their smiles broadened & their body language exudes such pride from turning the raw ingredients into a hearty meal. It was truly a fun day!
