This national competition challenges learners to apply their accounting knowledge in a practical business simulation, with schools from across the country competing for top honours. It is with enormous pride that we announce that Cornwall Hill College has four riders selected to represent Gauteng at the prestigious annual South Africa Youth Championships at Shongweni, Natal, at the end of June. We wish them and their horses luck and safe travels.

✨Chlöe Möhr (Gr 6) has been selected to represent Gauteng in four teams i.e. the 80cm Showjumping team jumping Foxton's Razzle; the Junior Challenge team riding Capital Caleb; The Pony Riding Foxton's Razzle, and finally the Junior Open Team riding Mossandi Lactose. This is a noteworthy achievement given that she is only 12 years old and may be the youngest competitor in the Open.

✨Kristen Oldewage (Gr 7) has been selected and qualified on both her horses for the Gauteng showing teams as well as the Gauteng Pony Rider Novice Dressage team. Her horses are Dolarch Top of the Castle and Midas Touch Santa Fe.

The YOUTH of South Africa at CHC!

✨Our Grade 1s spent time discussing how they are the future of our beautiful nation. They put their discussions into action with these wonderful, colourful posters featuring their own self-portraits. Every single one of them has a unique part to play in shaping tomorrow! 💫

✨In Grade 2, the children discussed how the students fought so bravely in 1976 to ensure that the future youth of South Africa live in a fair and equal country. The children joined their hands to capture the spirit of unity, diversity, and togetherness. 💫

✨Our Grade 3s came together to create this beautiful tribute for Youth Day. Just like these fingerprints, every single child brings their own unique colour to our world, but together, they form something incredibly powerful. 💫

Huge congratulations to all the girls who played. It was incredible to see you showing off all the amazing skills you’ve learnt this season. Your teamwork and spirit were unmatched! 🤩👏

⚽Today, our Grade 00 classes showed their South African spirit by dressing in their South African supporters' gear!
They enjoyed soccer matches, lots of fun, and celebrated being proudly South African as we cheer on our national team ahead of tonight's World Cup match.
