For this Teaching Tuesday, we are highlighting the beautiful synergy between play and cognitive development.

Many see play, but as a TSSA Thinking School, we see the foundations of critical thinking being built. Through intentional, play-based learning experiences, our learn to navigate challenges, think flexibly and make meaningful connections.

By nurturing these cognitive skills early, we ensure our are not just absorbing information but developing the independent thinking habits they need to thrive. Partnership between intentional teaching and joyful discovery is what makes our school so unique!

Outdoor learning activities like shadow tracing are a brilliant way for our to explore the science of light. By using the sun as a natural projector, students pick their favourite objects and trace the silhouettes left behind.
