Reaching Out is a non denominational, non profit organisation that is generally led by young university graduates, mostly from the university of the Witwatersrand, whom are educators. Our aim is to adopt schools from various catchment areas across South Africa to help them with learner performance and learner improvement.

This book is a collective reflection on the realities, responsibilities, and relationships that shape doctoral supervision and mentorship. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the contributors whose scholarship, insights, and lived experiences made this volume possible.
