Honouring the past, inspiring the future!

In honour of Youth Day, our boys reflected on the courage, resilience, and determination of the youth of 1976 through a meaningful assembly and discussions centred on freedom, equality, hope, and opportunity.🙌

To mark the occasion, our staff wore their school uniforms, reliving a meaningful part of history and reflecting on the sacrifices and bravery of those who helped shape the South Africa we know today!💙

The Ridge School will host its inaugural Thrive-to-Work Internship Indaba, a dynamic day of learning, networking, critical thinking, and meaningful conversations about the future of education.🙌

Interns from various schools will come together to build a professional network for emerging young educators, with inspiring presentations from education leaders, opportunities to engage with peers and professionals, and an exciting Great Debate between two schools designed to challenge perspectives and encourage growth.🎓

We are also delighted to welcome guest speakers and stakeholders, including representatives from EducationUSA, the Chevening Scholarship alumni network, and other fellowship programmes.

More than just an event, the Indaba is a space to connect, collaborate, build meaningful relationships, and prepare for workplace readiness as we bring together passionate young minds committed to shaping the future of education.💙

Golden performances on the mat!🥋

A huge congratulations to these two Ridge brothers who competed at the Gauteng Judo Championships this past weekend and delivered outstanding performances, each bringing home a gold medal. Their dedication, discipline, and determination have been rewarded with a remarkable achievement.🏆
