"What if the future isn't something to predict, but something to prepare for?"

Thank you to everyone who joined our recent Wits Alumni webinar with futurist and author Dr Craig Wing. Through his Four Future Seasons framework, Dr Wing challenged us to think differently about uncertainty, understand the cycles of change and anticipate disruptions before they happen.​
In a world where disruption is constant, the ability to navigate ambiguity and anticipate change has never been more important.

From advancing science and healthcare to championing peace, innovation and social justice, their achievements reflect the very best of our nation. Congratulations to all the honourees! 🇿🇦✨

• The Order of Luthuli in Bronze awarded to Adèle Kirsten (BA Sp&H Therapy 1981)

• The Order of Mapungubwe in Silver awarded to Professor Keertan Dheda (MBBCh 1992)

• The Order of Mapungubwe in Silver awarded to Professor Vukosi Marivate (BSc Eng 2007, MSc Eng 2009)
