The innovative online platform is designed to simplify the learner admission process, enhance efficiency, and ensure a seamless registration experience.

Remember if you are qualified FET teacher you also qualify to lecturer with your degree. Yes I know these days they do prefer candidates with Post Graduate Diploma in Tvet . That’s not the essential requirement, it’s just an added advantage. You may enroll for the course at many public universities to increase your chances. Just so you know.

EDUCATORS & PUBLIC SERVANTS: PLEASE CHECK YOUR PAYSLIPS 🚨

I noticed that my latest payslip includes a QR code for employee verification. After making enquiries with management, I was informed that this verification process is legitimate and forms part of a broader effort to verify employees on government payroll systems.

Reports indicate that thousands of employee records across the public sector have been flagged for verification, with concerns about possible ghost employees and payroll irregularities. The aim is to ensure that public funds are paid only to legitimate employees. (The Citizen)

My advice: Don't ignore the QR code. Check your payslip, complete the verification process if required, and encourage your colleagues to do the same.

Apparently about 22000 public servants are ghost employees, this means they are part of the wage bill but not reporting at said work station.s. This is just corruption across all government departments. Imagine if all these said employees can be found, that would open up posts that are believed to be occupied . We have a long way to sort out the corrupt ridden departments.

LEARNER DIES IN SEPANAPUDI CRASH WHILE 14 OTHERS INJURED

LEBOWAKGOMO | A 13-year-old learner from Saint Francis Catholic Academy died on Wednesday morning after a minibus collided with a truck on the R597 near Ngoato Tlou High School in Sepanapudi, Lebowakgomo Road.

The Limpopo Department of Education spokesperson, Mr Mike Maringa, has confirmed the accident involved a Toyota Quantum minibus and a Hino truck. Preliminary reports indicate the minibus driver was changing lanes to avoid a pedestrian when the crash occurred.

Fourteen people were injured, including the drivers of both vehicles. Eleven learners were taken to Lebowakgomo Hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

MEC for Education in Limpopo, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, expressed condolences to the family and school community. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of a young life in this tragic accident. On behalf of the Limpopo Department of Education, I extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Saint Francis School community,” said MEC Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya

“While we are relieved that the injured learners have been discharged from hospital, our thoughts remain with all those affected by this tragedy. We wish the learners a speedy recovery and urge all road users to exercise caution and prioritise road safety at all times.” said MEC Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya

The Department said it remains in contact with the affected schools, the bereaved family, and relevant authorities, and will continue to provide support to learners, educators, and others affected.
