Love and the lover

"Love...is kind..." 1 Corinthians 13: 4

Since time immemorial, people have desired to be loved and have loved others. We are built with a propensity to love, and our deepest hunger is always for love. Since time immemorial, humans have always possessed a flaw in them that causes harm to other fellow humans. This harm is also caused in relationships with each other.

Love

"...love does not seek its own..." 1 Corinthians 13: 5

If you took stock of your life, your wants, your needs and desires, do they reflect love for the other, or do they reflect what you want for yourself? If you honestly look at your life right now, does it show a desire for the other's wellbeing, or is it all about you?

It's okay for those who are not governed by the same Constitution to do as they please. It's okay for a citizen of one country to be governed by the laws of their country. However, when they leave their country to go to another, they must obey and be governed by the laws and the Constitution of that country. If you are of Christ, then you are governed by the commandments of Christ. Therefore, you must be obedient to the Constitution that is written by God through the various authors.
