Our learners thoroughly enjoyed the Youth Day 2026 celebrations, embracing the opportunity to reflect on what it truly means to be young in today’s world. The day was filled with energy, creativity, and meaningful activities that allowed them to express themselves, share their perspectives, and celebrate their unique identities. From engaging discussions about the challenges and opportunities faced by modern youth, to fun interactive sessions that highlighted their talents and teamwork, every moment was a reminder of the power and potential within this generation.

The celebrations also encouraged learners to appreciate the importance of unity, resilience, and the role they play in shaping the future. By stepping into the shoes of the youth of today, they not only had fun but also gained a deeper understanding of their voices, their rights, and their responsibilities. It was truly an inspiring and memorable day that left everyone feeling empowered, motivated, and proud to be part of such a vibrant and dynamic generation.

🌍 International Albinism Awareness Day | 13 June

Today we celebrate the uniqueness, strength, and resilience of people with albinism while raising awareness and promoting inclusion.

Albinism is a genetic condition that results in little or no production of melanin, the pigment responsible for the colour of the skin, hair, and eyes. Because of this, people with albinism are especially vulnerable to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays and often experience visual impairments. Without proper sun protection, they are also at a higher risk of developing skin cancer.

On this International Albinism Awareness Day, let's promote understanding, challenge misconceptions, and advocate for equal opportunities, dignity, and acceptance for all.
