Questioning something does not necessarily mean the child is trying to be rebellious. They could be trying to understand why, learning from you; this is vitally important to their development.
A child who blindly follows what someone older tells them to do can be at risk of being taken advantage of or manipulated.
Age appropriate, open dialogue and conversation is key.
‘Why?’ Maybe be an irritating question to some, but it is so important that a child is able to ask why? And have a discussion around it
