Our children, from birth to 5 years, enjoy excellent ECD and progression to Year 1 in Cooper College.
Magic Beings is a beautiful preschool with a fun, professional, progressive approach to childcare and child development. The school has been operating for 30 years, however, in order to keep current and meet the ever-changing needs of the children in our care, and our clients, we are continually improving our grounds, methods, and our service offering. We have an open-door policy, so please do come by and pay us a visit at your leisure. We are open Monday through Friday, between 06h30 and 18h00.

Our Group 3s had so much fun exploring Oobleck today! ๐ They discovered how it can change from a liquid to a solid and back again through hands-on sensory play. This activity supports fine motor development, encourages curiosity and problem-solving, and introduces early science concepts in a fun and engaging way. โจ

๐ Our Group 2 Owlets Class had so much fun taking part in a colourful obstacle race today! ๐
As they carefully stepped over toilet paper rolls and colourful balls, the children developed their balance, coordination, concentration, and gross motor skills. ๐ชโจ They also practised taking turns, waiting patiently, and encouraging their friends, helping to build confidence and social skills. ๐ค๐

โฝ๎๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Active bodies, active minds!
Our EY2 learners had lots of fun during Physical Education today. They practised bouncing and catching a ball, completed short sprint races, and took part in an exciting cone relay challenge where the boys and girls competed to move cones from one hula hoop to another.
These activities helped to develop gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, agility, teamwork, and confidence.

๐บ๐ต๐จ Shape fun in EY2! Our learners enjoyed exploring 2D shapes through a variety of hands-on activities. They used connectors and peg boards to create different shapes, helping them to recognise and build squares, triangles, rectangles, and circles.
The learners also took part in a sensory shape hunt, searching for hidden shapes in coloured rice and sorting them into the correct containers. These engaging activities helped to develop shape recognition, fine motor skills, problem-solving, concentration, and early mathematical thinking.

The afternoon was filled with campfire magic as dads and children gathered to roast marshmallows, create special lantern keepsakes, and put their humour to the test in our Dad Joke Contest! ๐
From laughter around the "campfire" and groan-worthy punchlines to tiny hands proudly sharing their creations, the afternoon was filled with fun, connection, and unforgettable memories.
