Our 4–5 Year Olds Have Been Busy Little Superstars!

No wonder they need two school holidays to recover — our 4–5-year-olds have been working incredibly hard!

These little humans have been learning, growing and achieving through hands-on, meaningful experiences that make learning exciting and fun. From counting, reading, spelling and writing to exploring new concepts through play, they are building strong foundations for a bright future.

Their fine motor skills are developing beautifully through a variety of activities, including construction and building tasks, tracing along lines with different objects, finger painting and learning to use scissors like real rock stars! Every activity helps strengthen the little muscles needed for writing and everyday independence.

Our students are also becoming more confident in their body image identification and can now draw and identify the different parts of their bodies with pride. What an incredible achievement!

From the classroom to the gross motor field, these little humans are constantly exploring, creating and discovering. They are developing their coordination, concentration, confidence and independence while having an absolute blast along the way.

We are so proud of how they continue to excel, grow and glow every day. Keep up the amazing work, little humans — you are proving that big things come in small packages!

Just in case everyone thought it was only the Senior School having all the fun on World Oceans Day... think again! 🐠💙

Our Junior School had an absolute blast celebrating our amazing oceans! From ocean-themed activities to creative masterpieces, our little eco-warriors were hard at work learning how to protect the world around them.

Our clever Age 2–3 classes even made their very own jellyfish and they were simply adorable! 🪼✨

Days like these remind us that even the smallest hands can make a big difference. With every activity, conversation and creation, we are helping to raise a generation that loves, respects and protects our beautiful planet.

Surely after today, our world is a little wiser and a lot brighter with so many little eco-warriors ready to care for it! 🌍💚

🌊🐋 World Oceans Day 2026 🐠🦈

At Edufun4kids, we are proud members of WESSA (Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa) and proudly support environmental awareness initiatives, including World Oceans Day.

Did you know?
Our oceans produce over half of the oxygen we breathe. 💙 Oceans help regulate the Earth's climate and weather. 💙 They are home to an incredible variety of plants and animals, from tiny seahorses to magnificent whales. 💙 Healthy oceans help keep our planet healthy for future generations.

To celebrate this special day, our students took part in a variety of Ocean-themed Art, English and Maths activities, learning about the importance of protecting our oceans and the amazing creatures that call them home. Through play, creativity and exploration, we encouraged our little environmental champions to understand how even small actions can make a big difference.

And because learning is always more fun with a little treat, every student enjoyed some delicious sharky sweets!

Together, we are raising a generation that cares for our planet, one wave at a time.
