What a wonderful Mother’s Day celebration it was as our Grade RRR and Grade RR students honoured the special women who nurture, guide and inspire them each day. The mornings were filled with joy, creativity and meaningful moments as mothers and special guests joined us for a memorable time together.

PINK DERBY DAY – SAINTS VS ST JOHN’S COLLEGE - SATURDAY 20 JUNE 2026

Join us for the annual Pink Derby as two great boys’ schools come together for a day of sport, community and purpose. Since its inception in 2016, this special event has represented far more than a sporting rivalry, bringing the St Stithians and St John's communities together in support of PinkDrive and the vital work they do in the early detection of breast and gender-related cancers.

This Saturday, 20 June, the tradition continues as our Boys' College and Boys' Prep travel to St John's College for the 9th , part of the King Price Insurance Derby Series and our final derby of the season.

Supporters are encouraged to visit the Wall of Hope at the main entrance of St John's, make a donation, and leave a message in honour of a survivor, in memory of a loved one, or to celebrate a personal cancer journey.

On the field, look forward to an exciting day of competition, including First XI Hockey, the Boys' Prep clash, the Old Stithians vs Old Johannians 7s Rugby match, and the First XV Rugby encounter.

Wear your blue and white Saints supporter stripes, add a touch of pink, and show your support as we come together to celebrate sport, community, and a cause that truly matters.

YOUTH DAY - 16 JUNE - HONOURING THE PAST, EMPOWERING THE FUTURE

Today, the St Stithians College community pauses to honour the courage and resilience of the youth of 1976. Their bravery fundamentally changed the course of South Africa's history, reminding us of the undeniable power that young people hold to challenge injustice and spark meaningful change.

As we reflect on our past, we celebrate the incredible potential of today’s generation. Within our campus and beyond, our students continue to walk the Saints Journey, walking a path of purpose, leadership, and service. Together, we are building One Legacy—a future rooted in honour, unity, and a shared commitment to shaping a brighter, more inclusive South Africa.

To the innovators, the dreamers, and the leaders of tomorrow: keep pushing boundaries and raising your voices.

Happy Youth Day, Saints family!

OLD STITHIAN ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIR AND DEPUTY CHAIR

The Old Stithian Association is proud to announce that Asante Nxumalo (Class of 2015) was elected as Chairman of the OSA at the Annual General Meeting held on Saturday 6 June, with Lara Stockigt (Class of 2013) being announced as Deputy Chair.

Asante’s passion for the Saints community and commitment to alumni engagement make him an exciting leader for the next chapter of the Association.

“Serving the OSA is deeply personal to me because I believe St Stithians is a truly world-class institution and an island of excellence with the power to make a meaningful difference in South Africa and beyond. I see the Saints community as something that should continue to be protected, strengthened, and grown for future generations.
My vision for the OSA is to foster greater connection, engagement, and belonging amongst alumni across generations and across the world, ensuring that for every Old Stithian, wherever they may be, the OSA remains a true home away from home. Once a Saint, always a Saint.”

We are grateful for the work and many hours of service that outgoing Chair, Israel Skosana has given to the association these past years and thank him for his valuable time and dedication. We extend our gratitude also to outgoing Deputy Chair Gavin Meiring for his commitment and service.

Our newly appointed Deputy Chair Lara Stockigt has served on the OSA Committee as a representative of the Girls’ Subcommittee and has led Events for the OSA since 2021. Her dedication and leadership have played a significant role in bringing the Saints community together through memorable events and meaningful alumni engagement.

“I have served on the Old Stithian Committee as a representative of the Girls’ Subcommittee and have been Head of Events for the OSA since 2021. I am passionate about ensuring that Saints remains home to all those who have passed through this esteemed establishment. “Once a Saint, Always a Saint” is a conviction I hold strongly, and I value the OSA as a space where Stithians can always return. I am proud to be part of the Old Stithian family.”

Please join us in congratulating Asante and Lara on their appointments and join us in wishing them every success as they lead the Old Stithians Association into the future.
