E-Sports in Action 🎮

Throughout June, our E-sports students participated in exciting, friendly matches, competing as the Red and Blue teams in action-packed Minecraft battles. Working together to defend their teammates and secure victory, they achieved an impressive 250 points!

E-sports is about much more than gaming—it develops strategic thinking, teamwork, communication, resilience, and dedication. Our students showcased these skills brilliantly throughout the competition, demonstrating what it means to compete with both passion and purpose.

As they continue to grow and develop their talents, our players are eagerly preparing to represent Crawford International Sandton Prep against other schools in upcoming matches this July and August.

We have come a long way in a short time, and this is only the beginning. The future of E-sports at Crawford is bright, and we are excited to see what lies ahead! 🚀

Learning Through Play in Grade 00 ✨

Our Grade 00 students engaged in a thoughtfully curated loose parts provocation, exploring, sorting, arranging, and creating in their own unique ways.

Through hands-on discovery and imaginative play, they developed essential early skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity, and collaboration. Watching our young learners investigate, experiment, and learn alongside their peers was a wonderful reminder of the power of play-based learning.

San Community Presentation ✨🌍

Our Grade 5 learners enjoyed an engaging and informative presentation about the San community, gaining valuable insights into the history, culture, traditions, and way of life of one of Southern Africa’s oldest indigenous peoples.

Learners asked thoughtful questions and deepened their understanding of different cultures and perspectives. They also had the opportunity to explore and purchase authentic items, making the experience both educational and memorable. 🌿📚

Our Grade 3 learners hosted a wonderful Market Day for our Pre-Primary children, filled with fun, laughter, and creativity!

From preparing stalls to serving their little shoppers, our Grade 3s demonstrated excellent communication skills, responsibility, and teamwork.
