PSZ Medicine Take-Back Week 2026

What is PSZ Medicine Take-Back Week?

PSZ Medicine Take-Back Week is a pharmacist-led public health initiative aimed at promoting the safe collection and disposal of unused, expired, and unwanted medicines from households and communities.

The initiative is being conducted as part of Pharmacy Awareness Week 2026 and aligns with the Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia's commitment to advancing public health, environmental stewardship, and responsible medicine use.

A memorable moment at the White Coat Ceremony hosted by the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University Pharmacy Students Association (LMMUPHARMSA), marking the official induction of pharmacy students into the noble profession of pharmacy. The ceremony celebrated professionalism, service, integrity, and the commitment to patient-centered care that the white coat symbolizes.
