Hello there and I guess I find you well. I am proud to proclaim that Professional Accounting programmes like ACCA, CPA & CIMA take precedence over academic qualifications that encompass University degrees.

In this ever changing global economic environment and the rapidly evolving labour markets, going to the University to study an accounting degree is now a thing of the past, especially if you are in the finance and accounting field, given the labour market and hence, employers are now placing bias towards Professional accounting programmes like ACCA, CIMA & CFA than the academic Degrees as they are now a mere worst of time, money and effort given their inability to fully convince the employers.

Those who decide to go for a degree after their advanced level studies are likely to spend 4 years at the University and after completion of their accounting degree, they will only realize that to secure employment, they need a professional qualification such as the ACCA to strengthen their CV and this will take 2 or more years to complete on top of the 4 years spent at the University. In total the whole process of being Degreed plus a professional programme will take about 6 to 7 years 2 be achieved.

In contrast, if you decide to qualify through the Acca route, where we have a 4 quarterly exam system to write a total of 13 subjects plus 2 other online modules as well as submitting a research and analysis project to get a degree from the University of Oxford Brookes (UK), the process of which will take approximately 3 years compared to the one emphasised above. The ACCA road saves time, money and also enhance your marketability in the labour market not only in your parent country but also internationally. After completing your Acca qualification, below are the certificates u will b awarded with:
