Good afternoon everyone

Yesterday our learners visited the Chinhoyi Caves for an educational trip that combined elements of Agriculture and Geography. The objectives included enhancing learners' understanding of geological formations, exploring the relationship between natural landscapes, agriculture, and fostering appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation. During the visit, learners engaged in geological exploration of limestone formations, discussed how these features impact local agriculture, and reflected on the complexity of nature. The trip was highly engaging, with active participation and enthusiasm from learners, reinforcing their classroom lessons in a real-world setting.

Overall, the visit was a success, deepening appreciation for the environment and experiences.

Our learners visited Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) yesterday, combining theory with real-world application. The trip was a success, with insights into dairy production, feed formulation, and fish farming. At CUT, learners toured the agricultural laboratory, witnessing cutting-edge technology and innovation. They observed integrated farming practices at the CUT farm, seeing how dairy production and fish farming create a sustainable system. The feed formulation unit highlighted the critical role of nutrition in livestock and aquaculture. Learners were engaged, asking questions and seeking clarification. Highlights included the milking process, fish species management, and technology use to improve yields and reduce waste. This trip showcased experiential learning's power, connecting theory to practice. We believe it will be a pivotal moment in our learners' academic journey, enriching perspectives and equipping them to excel.
