Meet Clever Songozo and Davison Chipungu, (GAD 22), two agriculture graduates from Blackfordby College of Agriculture who embarked on an exciting journey to the USA for a one-year agricultural internship with Intergrow Greenhouses Inc. and Ohio State University.

Our destination was a cutting-edge farm in Fillmore NY, Ontario NY and Albion NY, specializing in horticulture farming under high-tech greenhouses.

During our internship,Davison and I worked closely with experienced farmers and agronomists to grow wide varieties of tomatoes using advanced hydroponic systems, precision irrigation, and climate control. We learned more about integrated pest management and hydroponics water testing applying theoretical knowledge gained during our college days.

Our dedication and passion for sustainable agriculture impressed our hosts, leading to additional responsibilities and opportunities. We contributed to research projects, collaborated with other interns from diverse countries and backgrounds.

Blackfordby College offers a unique and valuable college experience I recommend without reservation.
