- Our two week solar training programme is still underway, with valuable skills and expertise being shared by the German training team. Our students are receiving hands on training under practical conditions that they will apply upon completion. This multi-national training program(Zimbabwe - Zambia - Malawi - Germany) is one of the key ways in which we provide world class exposure to our learners.

- Day one of our solar training kicked off on a good note yesterday! This one of a kind training is currently being held at our institution with our very own students joined by others from Zambia and Malawi. The training is being done by a German team of experts that will impart skills to the trainees that will not only help them to be come proficient in solar installation but also to become trainers too. This train-the-trainer program has been made possible through the efforts of the Planning and Development office of ZMB Province based in Lusaka. Our young people are getting international exposure right at their doorstep!!

We are very proud and humbled that one of our very own William Mupangani is attending a Conference for Salesian Cooperators across the globe being held Currently in Rome, Italy. This conference was set to celebrate the 150 year anniversary of the Salesian Cooperators coming into existence. We remain grateful to God for the work done by the Salesian Cooperators in supporting the mission of evangelizing and educating the young. William is currently part of the team from ZMB province (including countries such as Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Botswana). We stand with the Cooperators here in Hwange, in our province ZMB and across the globe and remain ever thankful for your tireless efforts.

We join the world in celebrating the love, commitment and strength of Mothers. They uphold families communities and they carry the burdens of their loved ones with them. We are blessed to experience that same grace and blessing in our work with the young people at Don Bosco, whether it is in the Parish or classroom or in the oratory or otherwise, the same commitment is seen and realized. We remain grateful for the love and support we receive in our mission and are thankful that we get to experience the Love of God through the gift of the Mother's that help us and those that come and train with us for a brighter future for their families.

Happy Mother's Day!

. Our heart are full as we embrace an Easter Miracle today! Through the fruitful partnership we have had with Amalima loko and the State Department, we have received a very generous donation of a vehicle and a 30 seater bus to help cater to the ever growing needs of Don Bosco Hwange. This truly is divine Providence and we remain grateful for such well nurtured partnerships that continue to pour into us and the work we do.

A special thank you again to Amalima loko and the State Department for this donation to the Salesians of Don Bosco in Hwange.
