Our Grade 6 scholars learnt about Shona culture, from agriculture to livestock to domestic chores.

Our students have the privilege of learning outside of their classroom with educational adventures scheduled each year. Our Grade 5 pupils started this term at Aberfoyle. They also visited a tea processing factory, tea plantations and so many other places of educational interest.

Our Grade 1 pupils found out that you can learn in the classroom AND outdoors!

The winter sport season began with a massive Marondera Schools sport festival hosted by Springvale House School. Lendy Park School participated and thoroughly enjoyed the competition and sportsmanship.

At the end of last term, the Lendy Park community bid farewell to Aunty “Stella Zvita John” as she retired from work after serving Lendy Park School for 30 years.

She joined Lendy Park School in 1996, working at the school’s hostel. Her farewell ceremony was marked with an array of speeches, gifts and presentations from the school and fellow co-workers.

She was a remarkable, hardworking and committed individual to her work.
