Stage 1 had a fantastic time stepping back in time at Rouse Hill Estate!

Through the Early to Rise and Lessons from the Past programs, students experienced what daily life was like over 120 years ago. They took part in farm chores like feeding the chooks, pumping water and exploring the homestead, and then stepped into the past as 1880s schoolchildren, trying activities such as writing on slates, sewing, drawing and learning about old‑fashioned classroom routines.

It was a rich, hands‑on day of learning that helped Stage 1 make real connections between life in the past and life today!

On Friday the 22nd, our OLA community gathered to celebrate the feast day of Our Lady Help of Christians with a beautiful whole‑school Mass.

It was a meaningful time of prayer, reflection, and unity for our students and staff.

Students made the journey to school using designated crossings, holding an adult’s hand, and staying alert every step of the way.
